Better for an older child - my 7-year old niece couldn’t quite grasp the concept of a journal and hasn’t used it much.

      For my 11 year old

My daughter struggles to communicate how she is feeling and what is going on in her life (generally introverted), so I'm hoping she can express herself through using this journal. The pre-written journal pages look inviting and open-ended. The journal seems expensive, but it's not much for showing I care about her emotions. It's a Christmas present, so she hasn't used it yet.
