The Toys Price Matching Policy applies to purchases made both in-store and online.
How to Request a Price Match
Price match requests must be made before purchase through the Shop Chat inbox on our website.
To request a price match, please:
- Send us a link to the identical product on the competitor’s Australian website.
- Make sure the product is in stock and available for immediate purchase from both My Playroom and the competitor.
- If the competitor is located more than a 25-minute drive from My Playroom, send us a screenshot showing the product in the competitor’s cart, including the delivery cost.
Please note that competitor delivery costs will be taken into account when assessing a price match for stores located more than a 25-minute driving distance from us.
Price Match Eligibility
If a competitor, being another Australian retail store, is offering a cheaper price on a product on an exact like-for-like basis, in its store or on its Australian website, My Playroom may Price Match if:

The price match is requested prior to purchase via our Shop Chat.

The identical toy product (same brand, model / style), product offer or bundle is in stock and available for immediate sale by My Playroom and the competitor.

My Playroom team member able to verify the price and availability of the product.
My Playroom will not match the competitor's price if:

The products is with limited or restricted quantities, for example, products that have "Limited" ribbon.

It is not considered a toy (for example, book).

It is below our cost price.

The conditions for Price Match (above) are not met.

The competitor's product is:

a demonstration model, second hand or refurbished

sourced from a store or supplier that has special conditions or trading limitations, such as warehouses, clearance centres, or a business under an insolvency administration

sourced from an unauthorised reseller

The price is:

a specially negotiated price or offer that is only available to a select group of people, such as a corporate rate, loyalty, subscriber or membership offer

discounted by means other than money, such as loyalty points, a discount voucher or coupon

When a Price Match is agreed, no further discounts, or promotional offers will be given.
The agreed Price Match is only available at the time and day offered.
My Playroom reserves the right of final decision.
