My Playroom delivers within Australia only, to addresses covered by our available delivery carriers.
Shipping Costs
You can estimate your shipping cost from the Cart page using the “Australian Shipping Calculator – Get Estimates in Seconds!”
Enter your suburb and postcode to view the estimated delivery cost for your address. The final shipping cost will also be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
** Orders being delivered to regional or remote locations may incur additional shipping charges. In some cases, delivery may not be available if a suitable carrier cannot be arranged. We will contact you before dispatch if this applies to your order.
Dispatch Times
We usually dispatch orders by the next business day. Dispatch delays may occur during sales, peak periods, public holidays or other high-volume periods.
All delivery estimates begin from the date the parcel is collected by the courier, not from the date the order is placed.
Standard Shipping Estimates
Once collected by the courier, estimated standard delivery times are:
- Metro areas: 2–6 business days
- Regional areas: 5–7 business days
- Remote areas: 7–15 business days
These timeframes are estimates only. Courier delays may occur, and we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date.
Express Shipping Estimates
Express shipping is available for eligible parcel-sized orders. Furniture and bulky items are excluded.
Once collected by Australia Post, estimated Express delivery times from our Melbourne location are:
- Metro areas: 1–3 business days
- Regional areas: 2–4 business days
- Remote areas: 4–6 business days
Some remote locations, particularly in Western Australia and the Northern Territory, may take longer.
Express delivery estimates are not guaranteed and begin once the parcel has been collected by Australia Post.
Same-Day Delivery
Same-day delivery is available for eligible orders placed before 2pm and delivered within 8km of our stores.
The same-day delivery fee is $25.95.
Furniture, bulky products and some larger orders are excluded. Availability will be shown at checkout.
PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers
Eligible parcel-sized orders can be delivered to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers through Australia Post.
Furniture, bulky items and orders being delivered through Direct Freight cannot be sent to a PO Box or Parcel Locker. A residential or business street address must be provided for these orders.
Authority to Leave
You can leave an Authority to Leave instruction in the notes section on the Cart page.
The courier will only leave the parcel if they consider the location safe and suitable. Authority to Leave is not guaranteed, and some deliveries may still require a signature.
Furniture and Direct Freight Deliveries
Furniture and bulky products may be delivered through Direct Freight or another specialised courier. Furniture orders, particularly table and chair sets, may be packed into separate cartons. Due to courier size restrictions, each carton may require its own shipping label. Although the cartons may be dispatched together, they can travel separately and arrive at different times or on different days.
Direct Freight tracking dates and delivery ETAs are estimates only and may change during transit. Please allow additional time for all cartons in your order to arrive.
Return to Sender
A $16.98 Return to Sender fee applies if a parcel is returned to us because:
- The delivery address was incorrect or incomplete
- The parcel was not collected from the post office or collection point
- Delivery was refused
- The courier was unable to complete the delivery
- The parcel could not be safely left at the property
Once the parcel has been returned to us, you can choose to:
- Have the order resent after paying the applicable re-delivery fee; or
- Receive a refund, less the $16.98 Return to Sender fee and any applicable non-refundable shipping charges
We will contact you once the parcel has been returned to our warehouse.
Pre-Orders
When a pre-order product is included with other products, the entire order will usually be dispatched together once the pre-order item is available.
Estimated pre-order arrival dates may change due to supplier or freight delays.
Store Pickup
Click & Collect is available from our Canterbury and Chadstone stores.
Your order is ready for collection once you receive a Ready for Pickup email.
Orders are usually ready within two hours unless stock needs to be transferred between stores. Your estimated pickup timeframe will be shown at checkout.
Please bring your order confirmation email and photo identification when collecting your order.
