WHO WE ARE

My Playroom is an Australian educational resources and learning environment supplier supporting early learning services, kindergartens, childcare centres and schools.

Founded in Melbourne in 2019, we provide carefully curated educational resources, furniture and complete room solutions designed to support how children learn through play.

Creating Educator Ready Learning Environments

We combine educational expertise, carefully selected resources, furniture and FF&E to create purposeful learning environments that support how children learn and how educators work every day.

At My Playroom Education, we believe the environment plays an important role in how children learn, explore and engage.

Thoughtfully planned spaces can support independence, intentional teaching, different stages of development and children’s changing interests, while making resources accessible and environments practical for educators to manage every day.

The result is a learning environment that has purpose for the children using it and the educators teaching within it.

Because the best learning environments continue to support children and educators long after the setup is complete.

Why Work with My Playroom?

We solve the challenges behind great learning environments.

Creating an inspiring learning environment is about far more than purchasing furniture or educational resources. It requires educational knowledge, thoughtful planning, practical implementation and ongoing support.

01. “I know what I want to achieve, but I don’t know where to start.”

We help you clarify what the space needs to achieve, then guide you through the decisions that follow.

We take the time to understand your goals, the children and educators using the space, your requirements and budget, then help you determine what is needed.

With Montessori training and backgrounds in early childhood education within our team, our recommendations are informed by how children learn and how educators use their environments every day.

02. “There are thousands of products. Which ones actually work together?”

We carefully select resources that complement one another and support meaningful learning.

Rather than choosing products in isolation, we consider how they work together across different areas of learning, developmental stages and types of play.

This helps create a balanced environment with purpose, variety and less unnecessary duplication.

03. “How do I turn these resources into a learning environment?”

We help you create complete learning spaces.

We bring together furniture, educational resources, storage, display and learning areas to create a complete environment.

Each element is considered in relation to how children learn, how educators use the space and how the environment functions day to day.

04. “My educators don’t have time to set everything up.”

We take care of the preparation, so your educators can focus on the children.

We help organise and prepare the learning environment so educators spend less time unpacking, arranging and working out where everything belongs.

The space is ready to be used with purpose from the beginning.

05. “How do I know I’m choosing the best products?”

Our team’s Montessori training and backgrounds in education guide how we select every product.

We select resources for their educational value, quality, developmental suitability and practical use within a learning environment.

We also continually research trusted educational brands and manufacturers, combining educational understanding with strong product knowledge.

06. “I don’t want to manage multiple suppliers.”

We bring the key elements of your learning environment together through one experienced partner.

From educational resources and furniture to storage, display, outdoor learning, FF&E and custom furniture, we can coordinate the different elements your project requires.

This creates a more considered and consistent environment, while reducing the time your team spends managing multiple suppliers.

07. “Will this actually work in a real classroom?”

Every recommendation is considered for how it will work in everyday teaching and learning.

We look at educator workflow, storage, organisation, maintenance, children’s independence and long-term usability when planning a space.

The goal is to create an environment that supports learning while remaining practical for educators to use and maintain every day.

08. “It’s hard to imagine the finished result.”

We help you visualise how the complete environment can come together.

Through our showroom, displays and learning space examples, you can see how furniture, resources, storage and learning areas work together in a real setting.

This makes it easier to understand the overall look, function and flow of the space before making final decisions.

09. “What happens after installation?”

Our support continues as your learning environment evolves.

You can always reach out to our team for additional resources, space updates or future planning, and we’ll also check in to see how the environment is working for you.

We recommend reviewing the space over time to identify what is working well and where adjustments or additions may further support your educators and children.

10. “What if I need everything quickly?”

Ready when your project is ready.

With local warehousing, Australian inventory, an extensive supplier network and a dedicated showroom, we are well positioned to support projects with realistic timelines and dependable delivery.

Whether you're refreshing a classroom or opening an entirely new centre, we understand the importance of being ready on time.

11. “Do you understand what educators actually need?”

Absolutely. Our educational background shapes how we approach every space and every recommendation.

We understand that a learning environment needs to support both how children learn and how educators work every day.

Our experience in Montessori and early childhood education helps us consider the practical needs of educators alongside the developmental and learning needs of children.

12. “Why My Playroom instead of buying from different companies?”

We bring educational understanding, carefully selected resources and practical space solutions together in one place.

Rather than sourcing furniture, resources, storage and FF&E separately, we consider how each element works together within the wider learning environment.

Our educational background guides the process, helping create spaces that are purposeful for children, practical for educators and considered as a whole.
