Butterfly Montessori Wooden Puzzle

This 3 piece plywood puzzle is attractive to the child. The knobs are designed to allow the child to to easily access each piece while developing their fine motor skills in preparation for holding things with their fingers. Through their piece selections, children are engaging pattern recognition, spatial awareness and sequencing.

As children explore the puzzle, they are also absorbing the images the puzzle creates, some of these images will be familiar while others may not. These images provide a basis for discussion and can inspire further investigations and enhance language development.
