Description

These Baskets are hand-woven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana.

They’re equipped with durable leather handles and are perfect for carrying your shakers and bells around, shopping, in the garden, around the home or just sitting pretty.

Basket comes in folded condition. Reshape needed.

Fully malleable and easy to reshape, simply immerse in water for a few minutes and adjust while wet.

Perfect basket
A Bolga basket is a must have for toy storage, taking to picnics or even just for pretend play. Both of my children love to store their toys in these baskets and my youngest has been enjoying carrying hers around the house. These baskets seem to be beautifully made and have stood up to quite rough handling from my children, no fraying or damage yet.
