This is a simple, but valuable resource that can be manipulated by little hands to explore the value of numbers. The children can see what 1000's, 100's, 10's and 1s represent. They can build and make numbers for fun or use it as part of learning. I found the place value cards really helpful with my son when learning to add larger numbers. There is so much discussion that comes from this learning tool.
I found this to be the resource that gave my child the 'aha' moment they needed to grasp the concept of numbers.
