Excellent toy!!
I bought this randomly when it was on sale and WOW, turns out to be really helpful and my son enjoyed "playing" with this! I didn't think he will understand how to use money fully yet but after a few plays, he understood completely and is able to recognize real money as well (the toy money and real money is very similar). Highly recommend for 5 year olds.

Great way to teach kids about money however could be improved
Love the use of Australian notes and coins however the games suggested and the fact that the item cards were quite low priced meant that higher denomination notes were not used. Still great that the game included all the notes and we will be using the play money in other ways.

Fanatic play money
The game is so loved by my kids, even my older ones wnjoy playing it and helping the younger ones, and the money is the best quality and so realistic just what we've been looking for for our drewart cash register- also from my playroom!

Perfect for learning with Australian currency
I had been searching for realistic Australian notes and coins to help my children practice their maths skills with money. This set is perfect. My child's ability to recognise coins and notes correctly in real life has increased markedly since we started using this money in our play.
