This set includes Garden Bugs, Pond Life, Ocean Life and Forest Friends.

These rollers offer an imaginative way for children to explore the natural world through creative play. Roll into play dough or clay and stamp with the bugs to create hands-on habitats! Count the bees on the honeycomb, match the ladybirds to flowers and tell stories of what is happening close by when you look carefully. Children can experiment using different amounts of pressure and rolling in different ways, honing their fine motor skills as they create tactile patterns and beautiful works of art.

Garden Bugs set includes the following bugs and their habitats: butterfly and meadow, bee and honeycomb, spider and web, ladybird and flowers, caterpillar and branch, grasshopper and grass.

Pond Life set includes the following pond life: frog and lily pads, fish and weeds, duck and pond, kingfisher and perch, pond skater and duckweed, dragonfly and bulrushes.

Forest Friends set contains 6 rollers and includes the following forest animals and their habitats: bird and tree, bat and wood, moth and fern, squirrel and tree trunk, snail and leaves, rabbit and burrow.

Ocean Life set includes the following ocean creatures and their habitats: dolphin and waves, turtle and coral, fish and bubbles, seahorse and seagrass, shark and fish, octopus and cave.

Made from our durable stone mix, each set contains six rollers each measuring 72 x 34mm and are easy to clean.

    Rolling pins

These are absolutely amazing; they are so easy to use and create the most beautiful pictures on our playdough. They are only small, so they don't take up much storage space either.

    Well made

So well made and such a good size for small hands to roll or press the beautiful pictures into play dough. Cleaning is easy and they don’t take too much room to store.

These are fabulous for kids and adults!

I use these with my Primary Art kids for modelling clay and printing, but they are also great for creating with various types of clay with adults.

Cleaning up playdough would be a breeze because it washes/soaks out so easily and the problem of cross contamination is not an issue.

I have found that plasticine and polymer clay tends to get stuck in the very small ends of some of the crevices when using the patterns that are wrapped around the rollers and so it's easy to unintentionally transfer colours from one project to another. If using these materials, you need hot water and toothbrush/fine point & clothe to clean them properly.

Although less oily and easier to soak, it may still be a little tricky to get Pottery clay out of some of these little spaces.

They don't give a fantastic print with every paint or paper, but worth trying on a 'Gelli Plate.'

They may also be good for decorating cookies, fondant or other projects in the kitchen with embossed or food dye patterns. (Of course, I am not suggesting you use the same rollers for both craft and cooking)
