Specialty Scissors 3yrs+

Our 24 month old started bringing us sheets of paper and asking for “nail clippers” to cut them 😂 So we decided it was time to introduce scissors. These are sized well for very young hands, and the spring mechanism helps her understand the motion needed to cut paper. Blades are sharp enough to cut cleanly without frustration, but not so sharp as to be hazardous if used with supervision.

These are great value scissors for a beginner. My 4.5 year old has not had confidence using ordinary scissors, so I bought these to help him develop his cutting skills. The spring helps children understand how the scissors are meant to open and close. My boy can now cut through a piece of paper. They also have blunt plastic covered tips for added safety.
