Tara Treasures Felt Wombat Stew Play Mat Playscape 54cm Pretend & Imaginative Play Toys 3yrs+
Description
tep into the world of Wombat Stew and bring this classic Australian story to life with the Wombat Stew Playscape Play Mat. Inspired by Marcia K. Vaughan’s beloved book and Pamela Lofts’ charming illustrations, this handcrafted felt playscape recreates the iconic bush setting where Dingo prepares his bubbling pot of wombat stew, only to be outsmarted by the clever Australian animals.
Designed to encourage open-ended and small-world play, this interactive play mat features:
- A campfire with a billy can, just like in the story
- Removable sticks and rocks for hands-on storytelling
- A detailed bush landscape for immersive play
The removable elements allow children to rearrange and engage in creative role-playing, supporting problem-solving, language development, and a deeper connection to Australian storytelling.
Pair it with the Wombat Stew Finger Puppets Set for the ultimate storytelling adventure.
*Note that Wombat Stew Finger Puppets Set and Book are not included in this set and can be purchased separately.
